Our biggest project yet!

This project was over 2 years in the making! We teamed up with 3 architects to get every detail just right for this 3 level 2000 sq ft addition, almost doubling the size of the original house, and, in our opinion, it turned out <chefs kiss>! In addition to the, addition, this renovation also included an overhaul of the exterior, including all new James Hardie siding, Marvin windows, 3D Architectural Shingle roof, custom shutters, a 408 sq ft Trex deck and new paint on almost every inch!

Now take a step inside and see how we doubled the size of this house giving it an open-concept design on the main level, including taking the old 100 sq ft kitchen and turning it into a 450 sq ft gourmet kitchen with a 10 ft long island that overlooks the family room with a 30ft custom feature wall with fireplace, built-ins, and picture-perfect window seats overlooking the newly landscaped backyard (we almost forgot to mention we did all-new landscaping in the backyard too!). The old living room was transformed into the new dinning room by adding custom wainscotting, lighting, and plenty of room for those big holiday dinners. Last but not least, at least on the main floor, the old family room got a make-over for 1 of 2 new kid hang out spaces in this project. Head upstairs and you’ll see the new hardwood floors carry up to the 2nd level where you enter the all new 600 sq ft master suite through custom double doors bringing you into an oasis for the adults including his and her custom closets and a spa bath featuring a 9ft double vanity, separate shower and free-standing bath tub. But the parents aren’t the only ones loving this renovation; we already mentioned the kids playroom on a main level, but head down into the basement and we opened this up and added storage for a massive kids play room and thats not even part of what was added on! Behind those two new doors are the section of the addition which included adding a gym room on one side and a storage room/work shop on the other side!

All in all, this transformation was the largest scope project we’d ever taken on and since that wasn’t challenging enough, we thought we’d do it during a pandemic. Any future projects should seem like a piece of cake after this…just kidding, quick, knock on wood, or eh, Hardie Siding.
