Our first official first…
Surrey was our first official property acquistion and our personal favorite project to date. This was another project our AMAZING realtor brought to us and the first project that we wouldn’t actually be living in, so, what we refer to as our “first official” property acquisition. The only problem, we had zero experience with mid-century modern architecture. Lucky for us, the community civic association gave us some much appreciated guidance on all-things-mid-century. In addition, we took a lot of time researching MCM trends to make sure we gave this home the proper renovation it deserved and felt vindicated when numerous community members reached out to tell us they loved it. This home and community holds a special place in our hearts as we made lots of friends, and lots of fans throughout this project and hope we get another opportunity there again someday.
